First-Party Logistics or 1PL is a term describing the Shipper or Consignee.

Concrete production and transportation

A First-Party Logistics company typically owns, leases, or hires their own vehicles to transport their products. Only one party is directly involved in this supply chain: themselves.

Use Cases

A Retailer picking up supplies from their supplier
A manufacturer delivering goods to their customer
A cement producer delivering concrete to a customer's job site
