Repurpose is a sub-strategy of the Circular Economics Supply Chain Configuration Strategy where a product is repurposed by means of remanufacturing, disassembly and/or recovery. The product is typically changing form and/or function.

The key objective is to reuse the resources in their current state as much as possible.

Repurpose is a subclass of Circular Economics. Compare also to other subclasses: Extending, Sharing, Renewable
