A Term describing the status of a shipment of goods or packages. In Transit indicates the goods are in transit (moving) between the first and last facilities in the Carrier's logistics network.

Use Cases

A Courier Express and Parcel shipment typically has statuses in the following sequence:

  2. Picked Up
  3. In Transit
  4. Out for Delivery
  5. Delivered

This includes customer and Reverse Logistics shipments.
