End-of-Life

End-of-Life is a term describing one of the sub-stages of the Life Cycle of a product. Products classified as EOL are generally treated differently in planning processes. Discuss Contract Custom Solution (EOL) inventory is inventory no longer in production or sourced from external parties. (Once inventory is depleted no further replenishment is planned).

PLC stages include:

  • Introduction
  • Growth
  • Maturity
  • Decline

End-of-Life is typically used during the Decline stage.
